Two men in their 20s died in separate crashes in Cork and Kerry within 12 hours. A man in his early 20s died in a crash near Midleton, Cork, when a car and a truck collided on the N25 Cork Waterford Road. A man in his 20s from east Cork was pronounced dead at the scene. In Kerry, a man in his 20s died after a car crash on the N69 at Banemore near Listowel. The accidents bring the total number of road deaths in Ireland to 63.
