The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department has identified the body of a man found in the Monongahela River earlier this year as James Weaver, 48, of Arthurdale. The body was discovered on March 27 and Weaver had been reported missing to the Westover Police Department on February 14. The sheriff's office continues to investigate his death, asking anyone with information to call 304-291-7218 or email info.monongaliasheriff.gov.
