8 people remain missing after a collision between a Chinese fishing boat and a Panamanian container ship off the southwestern coast of Hainan Province, China on April 7th. The fishing vessel, named "Yuenan Aoyu 36062", sank in the collision, and search and rescue efforts continue in an area of over 5,700 square nautical miles. Divers have not been able to enter the sunken boat's cabin due to strong water currents and fishing nets.
