The Arizona Coyotes plan to bid $68.5M for a 110-acre land in Phoenix for a new arena & development.

The Arizona Coyotes plan to bid on a 110-acre plot of land in Phoenix for $68.5 million at a public land auction on June 27. The team aims to build a privately funded arena, entertainment district, practice facility, and housing units on the site, if they win the bid. The Coyotes' current arena lease in Glendale terminated after the 2021-22 season, and they have been playing at a 5,000-seat rink on Arizona State's campus while seeking a long-term solution.
