Las Vegas CEO Steve Hill of the Convention and Visitors Authority expresses optimism for the approval of key documents, including lease, non-relocation, and development agreements, for a $1.5bn, 33,000-seat stadium in Las Vegas for the Oakland Athletics on December 5. The stadium, planned for the Las Vegas Strip, is expected to open in 2028, marking the end of the Athletics' current season in Oakland. The team will play in a Triple-A stadium in West Sacramento, California for the next three seasons, with an option for a fourth.
