75-year-old Piran Ditta Khan, the mastermind behind an armed robbery in 2005, has been found guilty of the murder of British police officer Sharon Beshenivsky. Beshenivsky and her colleague were unarmed when they responded to the robbery, and both were shot at point-blank range. Khan fled to Pakistan two months after the incident and was finally tracked down in 2020, leading to his extradition to Britain.
