54th New Zealand Parliament: Farmers replace teachers as 2nd most common profession among MPs.

In New Zealand's 54th Parliament, farmers have replaced teachers as the second most common profession, following office work and politics. The research by BlacklandPR found that six careers dominate MPs' backgrounds: managers, elected representatives, analysts, lawyers, business owners, and farmers. This is a shift from the previous Parliament, which included teaching as the sixth most common profession. The number of MPs with education backgrounds has decreased from 20 to 6 in the new Parliament.
