Spotify has appointed Christian Luiga, former CFO and deputy CEO of Saab, as its new chief financial officer. Luiga, who previously held leadership roles at European telecommunications firm Telia, will join Spotify in the third quarter. The announcement follows reports that Spotify has been planning to increase its premium subscription prices in markets including the UK, Australia, and the US.
