50s man arrested at Dublin Port with €1.1m worth of cannabis hidden in a van from the UK.
A man in his 50s was arrested at Dublin Port after €1.1 million worth of cannabis was discovered in a van arriving from the UK. The drugs, hidden within a consignment of bottled water and garden supplies, were seized by revenue officers, who also arrested the suspect under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. The man is currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin.
