The Supreme Court of India ruled that foreign medical graduates should be treated equally to Indian medical graduates, including payment of stipends during their internships. The National Medical Commission was ordered to provide details of three medical colleges regarding foreign medical graduates' stipend payments. The court warned that strictures will be imposed if the earlier order on stipend payment is not complied with.
