A MARTA bus driver died Tuesday morning after suffering a medical emergency before crashing into a pole near the Hamilton E Holmes Station. No passengers were on the bus at the time. The driver, with MARTA for 20 years, had a medical emergency around 4:30 a.m. while leaving the garage. The bus sustained minor damage. MARTA will provide grief counselors for the employee's coworkers at the Hamilton garage.
