Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed a new education package into law, increasing minimum teacher salaries and K-12 school funding, setting a 2.5% State Supplemental Aid increase for the 2024-2025 school year. The law also requires Area Education Agencies (AEAs) to use 90% of state funding for special education services within two years, with the remaining 10% directed towards school districts.
