Labour criticises NZ government for providing landlords a $2.9bn tax break while many New Zealanders will receive less this year due to changes in minimum wage and benefit indexation. Labour's Social Development spokesperson Carmel Sepuloni states that the government's 2% increase in minimum wage will cause lower paid workers to fall behind inflation, negatively affecting their real income.
