Spiritual Baptists celebrate 73 years of freedom to worship without harassment on Shouter Baptist Liberation Day in Trinidad and Tobago, originally a result of the repeal of the 1917 Shouters Prohibition Ordinance. Despite this, the faith still struggles with stigma. Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar and President Christine Kangaloo extend greetings and recognize the community's historic struggle and perseverance.
