Good Samaritan Keith Fahreny was driving home from his trigonometry class when he saw a commotion outside his neighbor's house in Rockford, Illinois. He stopped and tried to help, only to find himself in a violent altercation with a man who had been stabbing people in the area. Fahreny managed to subdue the attacker but was injured in the process. The stabbing spree left four people dead and several others injured.
