Elite British commandos trialed using huskies for Arctic supply runs during deployment to Northern Norway.
Britain's elite commandos have trialled using huskies for high-risk supply runs in the Arctic Circle, during their deployment to Northern Norway. The Combat Service Support Squadron trained with the dogs to explore how they could carry ammunition and food to troops behind enemy lines. The Royal Navy's Commando Logistic Regiment and the Commando Helicopter Force's Ground Mobility Troop participated in the training.
