The Northeast Houndsmen, a nonprofit from North Quabbin, conducted a week-long K-9 training seminar at Orange Municipal Airport for police dogs and their handlers from various northeastern departments. The program included acclimation to aircraft, underwater tracking, and smoke-filled scenarios. It aimed to enhance skills and readiness for diverse situations. Additionally, students from Franklin County Technical School's veterinary program participated for hands-on experience.
