50-year-old Fermin Teodoro Lopez-Mendoza, an illegal immigrant, has been charged with four counts, including attempted first-degree intentional homicide, in relation to a domestic violence stabbing in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Lopez-Mendoza allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times with a steak knife before fleeing the scene. The victim, his wife, remains hospitalized in serious condition.
