A 19-year-old Honduran illegal immigrant, Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, was arrested in Louisiana after he allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl and stabbed a man during a robbery. Castellanos-Orellana had been at large for the rape when he was taken into custody following a separate incident. The suspect has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery, first-degree rape, and aggravated assault, and a federal ICE detainer has been issued for him. Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley expressed frustration with illegal migrants committing crimes, stating that they pose challenges for law enforcement due to the lack of documented identifiers and the use of aliases.
