Northern Kentucky police officer, Ryan Fern, faces strangulation and assault charges for allegedly choking his girlfriend during an argument.
A Northern Kentucky police officer, Ryan Fern of Dayton PD, faces charges of strangulation and assault after allegedly grabbing his girlfriend's neck and impeding her ability to breathe during an argument at their apartment. The Boone County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident, and the victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Fern turned himself in and has been suspended without pay by the Dayton Police Department.
