New Zealand's classroom behavior is among the worst in the OECD, with disruptive behavior worsening over the past 20 years, according to a report by the Education Review Office (ERO). Over half of teachers believe all types of disruptive behavior have become worse in the last two years, with a quarter of principals reporting students physically harming others and damaging property daily. Three-quarters of teachers claim disruptive behavior is impacting students' progress.
