Stellantis, parent company of Chrysler, laid off 400 white-collar workers through a "mandatory remote work day." The affected employees were informed they must work from home on a specific day for important operational meetings, only to be unexpectedly laid off during that remote meeting. These salaried, nonunion employees worked in technology and engineering in the US.
