Aker Carbon Capture and CO280 have signed a MoU to collaborate on large-scale CDR projects in the US and Canada pulp and paper industry. They aim to develop permanent, verifiable, and affordable carbon removals through point source carbon capture plants, deploying Aker Carbon Capture's modularized Just Catch series. Both parties will work on standard CDR solutions, including post-combustion carbon capture and compression for various stack emissions.
