Hamilton County Coroner Dr. Lakshmi Kode Sammarco identified North Fairmount Jane Doe as 25-year-old Mikaila Luckey, whose remains were found in a wooded area in Cincinnati in November and January. Luckey's family saw a Cincinnati Police Facebook post and contacted the coroner's office, believing it could be their missing family member. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations confirmed the match using Luckey's DNA, which was on file due to a previous crime connection. The investigation into her homicide is ongoing.
