1920s Banff Rundle Memorial United Church severely damaged by fire, kitchen destroyed, nearby thrift store and playschool closed, church services relocated.
Banff's historic Rundle Memorial United Church, built in the 1920s, was severely damaged by fire last week. The blaze destroyed the kitchen and caused significant damage to other areas. As a result, a nearby thrift store and playschool were closed, and church services temporarily relocated. The fire department's quick response helped prevent further damage, according to the church's property chair, Marlo Reid-Gibson.
