A fire at the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church on East Crockett Street in San Antonio caused $50,000 in damages. A security guard witnessed someone leaving the building after starting the fire and pursued them briefly before calling 9-1-1. No injuries were reported, but the fire primarily affected the back of the building, damaging band equipment and lighting. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
