Brendan Colley, 55, has been jailed for two years for possessing €100,000 in cash that was proceeds of crime. Gardaí found the money hidden in socks and gloves during a search of Colley's home on March 9th. Colley admitted he was forced to store the money to reduce a drugs debt and said he was going to return it to the owner. Colley has a previous criminal record with convictions for drugs offences, robbery, road traffic offences, and possession of knives.
