Troy Dannen, former AD at the University of Washington, has been appointed as the new Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska, effective Friday. Dannen, who has previously served as Director of Athletics at Tulane University and the University of Northern Iowa, will sign a six-year contract. He replaces Trev Alberts, who recently left for the same position at Texas A&M. Dannen is expected to bring a "storied tradition" and a "shared approach to life, work, and sports" to Nebraska.
