University of Northern Iowa appoints Megan Franklin as Athletic Director, effective May 13th.
The University of Northern Iowa announced Megan Franklin, former Senior Associate Athletics Director at Drake, as its new Athletic Director. Franklin, who has over 20 years of experience in NCAA Division I athletics administration, will begin her tenure on May 13th. She has worked at major athletic departments such as Virginia Tech and Nebraska, and was a key contributor to Drake's athletics renaissance. Franklin's five-year contract is subject to approval by the Iowa Board of Regents.
