Former Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill, convicted of civil rights violations, transferred from federal prison to Residential Reentry Center (RRC) for community confinement.

Former Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill, convicted of violating detainee's civil rights by placing them in restraint chairs for hours, has been released from federal prison and transferred to a Residential Reentry Center (RRC) for community confinement. Hill was sentenced to 18 months in prison and was initially scheduled for release in July 2024. His transfer to halfway house was for his safety, according to the Bureau of Prisons.
