Former Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely's parole hearing was continued until April 11 due to the parole board not reaching a unanimous decision. Blakely, who served as sheriff for 38 years, was convicted of felony theft and ethics charges last year and is currently in the Franklin County Detention Center. The parole board will reconvene next month to make a decision on his release.
