The Connectivity Standards Alliance introduces a unified IoT cybersecurity standard, IoT Device Security Specification 1.0, to address security concerns in consumer IoT devices.
The Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) has introduced a unified IoT cybersecurity standard and certification program, the IoT Device Security Specification 1.0, aiming to address increasing security concerns in consumer IoT devices. This initiative consolidates requirements from the three major IoT Cybersecurity baselines in the US, Singapore, and Europe into a single specification and certification program, helping manufacturers more easily and efficiently meet various regulatory regimes. The Product Security Verified Mark, when displayed on certified product packaging, signage, and online platforms, serves as a symbol of secure IoT devices, instilling confidence in consumers.
