Indian National Congress moves Delhi High Court against Income Tax Dept's re-assessment order for 3 years.
Indian National Congress (INC) moved Delhi High Court on Tuesday against Income Tax Department's order for re-assessment proceedings of three years. The matter was mentioned by INC's lawyer before a bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora. The court agreed to list the matter for hearing on Wednesday. Last week, Delhi High Court upheld ITAT's order refusing to stay on Income Tax notice for recovery of over Rs 105 crore as outstanding tax for the assessment year 2018-19.
