Christchurch man Matthew Isaac Wolfe has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in the US for his role in a sex trafficking operation. Wolfe admitted to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion after helping childhood friend Michael Pratt trick women into becoming porn stars. The duo owned the now-defunct GirlsDoPorn website, luring young, struggling women into producing pornographic content under false pretences. They told the women that the videos would never be posted online or released in the US, and that no one who knew them would ever find out about their production.
