5-year veteran Columbus Police Officer Andrew J. Mott, 36, died in a motorcycle accident on his way home from work in Delaware. The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 23 and Cotswold Road, and Officer Mott went into cardiac arrest after the crash. The cause and details of the crash are unknown. Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther expressed gratitude for Mott's service and offered condolences to his family.
