For the first time in Asia, two crocodiles were released into the Bhadra River in the Sundarbans, Bangladesh, with satellite transmitters attached to their backs. The saltwater crocodiles, named Juliet and Madhu, were recovered from the Karamjal breeding centre and Michael Madhusudan Dutt's village home. The move aims to track the crocodiles' movement, survival rate, and habits, making Bangladesh the first Asian country to conduct such a study.
