Greenpeace UK sets up a mock cemetery outside UK Parliament, linking 70,000 excess winter deaths to cold homes since 2013's home insulation support cut.

Greenpeace UK claims that since David Cameron's Conservative government cut support for home insulation in 2013, around 58 people have died daily in cold homes during winter. A mock cemetery with insulation board headstones has been set up outside UK Parliament by the environmental group to raise awareness of the 70,000 excess winter deaths linked to living in cold, damp housing conditions in the past decade. Greenpeace UK fuel poverty campaigner, Paul Morozzo, calls for a government investment of at least £6 billion every year to address the issue.
