82% of Pakistan's retail transactions in Q2 of FY24 were digital, according to the State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) Quarterly Payment Systems Report. Mobile and internet banking were the preferred modes for digital transactions, with 16 million and 11 million users respectively. Over 90% of retail fund transfers and 73% of bill payments or mobile top-ups were conducted using digital channels.
