Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) dismissed Ashneer Grover's challenge to jurisdiction and rejected his stay application, allowing the BharatPe case to proceed.

The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) dismissed Ashneer Grover's challenge to its jurisdiction on clawing back his shares in fintech unicorn BharatPe. SIAC also rejected Grover's stay application, allowing the BharatPe case to continue before the arbitration tribunal. BharatPe had filed an arbitration under SIAC rules in late 2022 to restrict Grover from vesting his 1.4% shares in the company. If the arbitration is granted, Grover will lose his unvested shares and the right to use the founder title.
