Malaysia's industrial production rebounded in January, rising 4.3% year-on-year, the fastest growth in eight months, driven by all sectors, including manufacturing, mining, and electricity output. The manufacturing sector experienced a 3.7% surge, with strong growth in domestic-oriented industries (8%) and export-oriented industries (1.6%). The mining sector expanded by 5.0%, and electricity output increased by 8.3%. This growth surpassed predictions of a 2% expansion.
