76-year-old music promoter Vince Power, known for organising events such as the Reading and Leeds music festivals, Glastonbury, and the London Fleadh, has passed away. Born in Kilmacthomas, Waterford, Power moved to London at 15 and later founded the Mean Fiddler venue and events group in the 1980s. He staged the Fleadh Mór at Tramore Racecourse in 1993, featuring headliners Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Joan Baez, and Van Morrison.
