Irish show jumping legend Con Power, 71, has died, celebrated for his key role in Aga Khan-winning teams.

Irish show jumping legend Con Power has died at age 71. Renowned for his exceptional horsemanship, he was a key member of three consecutive Aga Khan-winning teams for Ireland. Notable achievements include being a leading rider at the RDS and several North American shows in the late 1970s. Power, from Co Wexford, also excelled as a coach. His family continues the equestrian legacy, with his son Robbie and daughter Elizabeth achieving success in riding.
