52-year-old motorcyclist struck by gray/silver 2020 Honda Civic in road rage incident on I-75 in Sumter County, FL.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is searching for a driver of a gray or silver 2020 Honda Civic, involved in a suspected road rage incident on Interstate 75 in Sumter County. A 52-year-old Leesburg man was riding his motorcycle when he was intentionally struck by the vehicle near mile marker 319. The driver of the Honda passed a truck on the other side and abruptly veered to the outside shoulder, colliding with the motorcycle. The impact caused the motorcyclist to overturn multiple times into the adjacent woods while the Honda fled the scene. Troopers recovered parts of the vehicle at the incident site which identified the suspect vehicle.
