Navajo Nation adjusts to daylight saving time despite surrounding territories remaining on standard time.

Navajo Nation faces confusion as daylight saving time begins. The only part of Arizona that follows daylight saving time, Navajo Nation residents have to adjust their clocks one hour later, despite being situated between two territories that remain on standard time: the rest of Arizona and the neighboring Hopi reservation. This results in inconvenient time differences and added confusion for residents.
