The Supreme Court rejected the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) plea against a Calcutta High Court order that forbids disclosing details of cases related to TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee's wife, Rujira Banerjee. The high court order was based on Rujira's allegations that central probe agencies and media were involved in her character assassination and maligning her family by regularly publishing information about the ongoing probes on alleged financial and other scams.
