NASA's CADRE rovers, a trio of small lunar explorers, are complete and ready for tests. As part of the Cooperative Autonomous Distributed Robotic Exploration technology demonstration, these solar-powered rovers, about the size of carry-on luggage, will autonomously explore, map, and use ground-penetrating radar in the Moon's Reiner Gamma region. The mission aims to showcase the potential of multi-robot space missions.
