Murder accused Sibiya risks losing legal aid from Legal Aid SA after firing his attorney.

Senzo Meyiwa murder accused, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, risks losing future legal aid from Legal Aid SA after firing his instructing attorney, Sipho Ramosepele. Sibiya now has defence counsel, Thulani Mngomezulu, who was not paid by the Legal Aid Board for his work on the trial-within-a-trial. This decision puts Sibiya's access to state-funded legal representation in jeopardy.
