Madras High Court rebukes Tamil Nadu ministers for divisive comments on Sanatana Dharma.
The Madras High Court rebuked Tamil Nadu ministers Udhayanidhi Stalin, P. K. Sekar Babu, and MP A Raja for their comments on Sanatana Dharma, terming them perverse and divisive. The Court dismissed quo warranto petitions filed against the ministers, stating that they should not have made such remarks. While the Court did not issue a quo warranto, it held that the statements made by the ministers were contrary to Constitutional principles and ideas and amounted to gross disinformation.
