13 Dec 2022: Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin appears in Bengaluru court over defamatory remarks against Sanatana Dharma.
Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Udhayanidhi Stalin, appeared before a Bengaluru court on 13th December 2022 in connection with a complaint filed by social activist V Paramesha regarding defamatory remarks against Sanatana Dharma. He is accused of offences under IPC sections 153, 298, and 500. His statement from September 2023 stated that Sanatana Dharma is against social justice and equality and should be 'eradicated', causing a national controversy.
