48-year-old Sean Kilkenny, accused of harassing Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe via Facebook, has offered to apologize and proposed a "cease and desist" undertaking, where Kilkenny would cease any future contact with Crowe. The case has been adjourned to May 7th to allow Kilkenny to come to court and give his sworn undertaking. Kilkenny is also charged with obstructing Garda Joe Kearney acting under a warrant.
